Greek Revival

Martha's Vineyard

Studio C wanted to create a multi-generational family home everyone would want to come back to; to best experience Martha’s Vineyards quintessential Americana red-white-and blue seaside vibrancy.

Palette: No obvious seaside palette here. All the upholstery was redone in English countryside colors – heather blue, rust, sage green, antique rose, ecru and chestnut – in fabrics primarily of linen, silk and jute.

Summertime Living

SPATIAL PLANNING

SPATIAL PLANNING

Spatial planning is critical for comfort and function. With such a large main room, our goal was to create a space multiple people use together. The layout is also well suited to remain intimate if it is just two - someone sitting to read the paper whilst another prepares the morning eggs.

Custom Furnishings

Custom Furnishings

Studio C commissioned custom furnishings – such as the Ruhlman inspired barstools- throughout the home and gave new life to 19th century English antiques. The curves in both periods of pieces gently carry the eye through the space.

Harbor Viewing

Harbor Viewing

A cozy cocktail seating area near the dining room was necessary. Tea time, card time, cocktail time! It all works in this nook with the harbor view.
